Outkast Party with Dr. Regina Bradley!
As the author of Chronicling Stankonia and the editor of An Outkast Reader, Dr. Regina N. Bradley is the world’s preeminent Outkast scholar and thinker. We can’t wait to talk to her about her books, the college course she created on the legendary duo, visiting the Dungeon, what she thinks about flutes and more!
Use this Zoom link to join the conversation live this Sunday 6/2 at noon PT/3pm ET!
When Chronicling Stankonia was released in 2021, I interviewed Dr. Bradley for a story about her class on GRAMMY.com. I also took to my decks and mixed an hourlong Outkast special mix that aired on Jay Smooth’s Ill Doctrine Radio aka the (Even More) Underground Railroad in honor of the book.
I usually post my Music Book Club DJ mixes on Mixcloud, but the site doesn’t allow for mixes that are dedicated to one artist. I am still really proud of this set and want you to hear it, so you can go ahead and stream or download it directly from my Dropbox link!
