I realized that I’ve been having a right royal Summer of Queens between preparing for this event, reviewing Bay Area concerts by Janet Jackson and Missy Elliott, covering a mental health panel with MC Lyte and Saweetie in Los Angeles and watching Queen Latifah perform with MC Lyte, Monie Love, Lady of Rage and Yo-Yo at the Hollywood Bowl.
