Tonight: S.H. Fernando Jr.'s MF DOOM Book at Green Apple Books on the Park in SF
Attend or tune in to the livestream!
We are thrilled to present our first in-person event tonight (Nov. 8) with S.H. Fernando Jr. and his wonderful book The Chronicles of DOOM: Unraveling Rap’s Masked Iconoclast at 7pm at my local favorite Green Apple Books on the Park at 1231 9th Avenue in San Francisco. Tune in to the YouTube livestream if you can’t make it in person!
Next up: Rob Swift and Rasul A. Mowatt (11/26)!
Rob Swift + Rasul A. Mowatt will preview their forthcoming book The City of Hip-Hop: New York City, The Bronx, and a Peace Meeting (which comes out on Routledge on Dec. 17) at noon PT/3pm ET/8pm GMT. Use this Zoom link to join the call. We’re excited that this will be our first author conversation about a book that isn’t out yet!
Also, I will reschedule our conversation about my Bay Area Rap book that was to take place on Nov. 16 (my birthday) in early 2025 in order to give myself a little more time and grace to finish the project. It’s very close, but will benefit from me cutting myself a little break in the wake of everything that’s happening right now!
